Bilbao, Spain, November 28, 2018 — Innventik participates at the presentation of the “UK Industrial Strategy Presentation: opportunities and Capabilities” and reception, organized by the Department for International Trade (Northern Spain) & IK4 Research Alliance. The seminar covered formal presentation of the Industrial Strategy by BEIS with an industry response from the Manufacturing Technologies Association, local and UK technological capabilities involving IK-4, TECNALIA and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), Opportunities and local capabilities in composites with Composites UK, the National Composites Centre, Aernnova and M Torres.

The workshop “innovation with plastics for a circular and efficient Europe in the use of resources” has analyzed innovation with plastics as a key strategy to achieve the future model of the circular economy, which should promote the appropriate conditions for the use, reuse, Recovery and recycling of plastic. The importance of the use of renewable and biobased materials was highlighted.
European BioEconomy Venture Forum (Viborg, Denmark, 6-7 June 2018)
Viborg, Denmark, June 9, 2018 — Dr. Walter Ramirez represented Biokemik at TechTour’s EBVF “European BioEconomy Venture Forum” that took place in Viborg-Denmark (6-7 June 2018). Biokemik was selected as one of the highest impact start-ups to participate in this event. Innventik present at the UK-Spain bilateral event for Nano and Advanced Materials (University of Cambridge, 15-16 May)
Cambridge, UK, May 16, 2018 — Enterprise Europe Network invited Innventik to participate at the UK-Spain bilateral event for Nano and Advanced Materials (University of Cambridge, 15-16 May). The main aim was to foster cooperative partnerships among companies, research organizations and technology centers, in order to build prospective collaborative R&D project consortia for EU and nationally funded programs, to provide a platform for commercial and technological B2B partnerships as well as for R&D collaborations. The event was organized in collaboration with the Science and Innovation Network, BEIS, Innovate UK, CDTI, Tecnalia, and Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology. “Whatever the outcome of UK-EU negotiations, keeping our scientific collaboration with Spain is of the utmost importance to us” said UK Science Minister, Sam Gyimah.

Santander, Spain, February 22, 2018 — CTC organized the Conference “Nanomaterials: Challenges and Opportunities for Industry”, in Santander. The conference focused on new possibilities, projects and applications that are being carrying out by relevant companies and entities in the value chain of nanomaterials.
